Frank Cosentino Frank Cosentino
Guitar has been in Frank Cosentino’s life sine the age of five. Everything changed after seeing Jimi Hendrix live at his infamous 1968 Toronto Show! For Frank, it was the sound coming from this larger than life guitarist’s hands, that some would say was a religious awakening musically for Frank.
Fast forward 45 years and Frank has established himself as one of Canada’s finest Blues Guitarist/Singer/ Songwriter. The Multi Award Winning Guitarist has released 6 CD’s, with four dedicated the art of the Blues. Frank’s touring has become the stuff on legends, touring for over 30 years with tens of thousands of dates to his credit, sometimes gigging 200-250 dates a year! Frank has played with and or shared stages with some of the worlds greatest musicians in Blues and beyond. Legends like Sue Foley, James Cotton, Johnny Winter, the late Jeff Healey, Robben Ford and Duke Robillard. Along the way, Frank has been honoured with endorsement deal from some of the worlds most respected music companies.

He has also becoming a very much in demand Teacher in the art of blues guitar. After over 40 years of playing it was “Time to share some of his knowledge and keep the art of guitar blues growing and moving forward. With his smoking band, it’s standing room only at ALL OF HIS CONCERTS!! There’s a joke in the music community: If you want to pick up girls, DON’T go to a Frank Cosentino show… all you find is guitar players in the audience!!! Proof that Frank is a Guitar player’s Guitar player. When Frank plays… people listen. Frank is also an incredible singer and established songwriter.

With all this history Frank’s first love is still touring and gigging, bringing the music to the people. With ever increasing national and international radio airplay, Frank’s music is being enjoyed by an ever growing audience. Following interview’s in major music magazine’s, radio and television coverage, Frank Cosentino, and his music are no longer a Canadian secret. Frank’s new album “Straight no Chaser” is soon to be released on UNIR1 Records, and you’ll be hearing more from Frank on the Blues Connection with Paul B Blues & Slim Jim Harpo.
